The Community Parks II Area Committee is comprised of individuals from representative Community Recreation Groups that serve the Community Parks II area which includes the following communities: Barrio Logan, City Heights, Emerald Hills, Encanto, Golden Hills, Kensington, Logan Heights, Mountain View, Mount Hope, North Park, Ocean View Hills, Otay Mesa, Paradise Hills, Skyline Hills, Southcrest, Stockton, San Ysidro, University Heights and Valencia Park.

The committee meets the 4th Wednesday of the month beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the War Memorial Building, Room #2, Balboa Park, San Diego, CA 92101.

Agendas are made available 72 hours before the meeting’s date on the website link. If it isn’t, please contact us. The agenda will include information on physical location, zoom link, agenda items, and other information.

The Parks and Recreation Board was chartered by the City Council under Municipal Code Section 26.30 to serve as an advisory board on matters relating to the acquisition, development, maintenance and operation of parks, beaches and recreation properties and facilities.
