- Approved a minimum floor area ratio variance and site plan for a new two-story mixed-use building next to Pillsbury House and Theatre at 3525 and 3527 Chicago Ave. This building will house KRSM community radio, classrooms, training space, offices, break rooms, and two single-room occupancy (SRO) rooms for visiting artists. [Editor’s note: The theatre and KRSM are part of Pillsbury United Communities, the same non-profit that houses the Minneapolis Documenters program]
- Forwarded without recommendation of the petition to add the commemorative name of Spike Moss Way, honoring a longtime community activist against police violence, to Plymouth Ave N between Newton Ave N and Lyndale Ave N.
- Approved a conditional use permit for Northstar Center complex to allow a wall sign to exceed the maximum height allowed for buildings that exceed 6 stories at 620 2nd Ave S and 625 Marquette Ave.
- Approved an application for a minor subdivision for a party wall split of an existing duplex at 3115 Dupont Ave N. This allows separate ownership of each duplex unit.
