@CHIdocumenters This board is an independent civilian body that oversees various matters of the CPD, mainly deciding disciplinary cases involving police officers or department members, and nominating candidates for Superintendent of Police. The 9 board members are appointed by the mayor.

@CHIdocumenters Board Member Jorge Montes quickly offered a dissenting option to the disciplinary decision regarding Officer Patrick Bunyon. I was unable to catch neither the charge nor the ruling. Meeting then moved into public comment, audio still indiscernible, and concluded at 8:33pm.
