@CHIdocumenters On the agenda for this meeting is the appointment of José Tirado as Executive Director of the Office of Emergency Management and Communications and a call for additional federal funding for U.S. Postal Service mail carrier security.

@CHIdocumenters Teron Simms commented and mentioned the multiple organizations looking to make the public safer but pointed out that Black people are still dying.

@CHIdocumenters In response to a question about what Tirado's CPD experience brings to this new role, Tirado spoke about the addition of many districts. This allows him to understand the districts and large events from a CPD perspective. He said he now has knowledge of OEMC and CPDs perspective
