The Public Meeting Experience: Cleveland Documenters Special Assignment

Documenters will share their experiences and insights from covering local government meetings to help contribute to a guide to be shared with public bodies and agencies in order to encourage practices to make meetings more accessible and transparent for residents.

WHO: This assignment is for you if you have documented a local government meeting in the past 18 months

WHAT: The goal is to help build an understanding of what local governments can do to make their live stream and in-person meetings more accessible and transparent for all residents.

HOW: This assignment is a “self survey” with space to share examples and ideas. Each survey will take, on average, 30 minutes.

**You will be paid for one hour of time ($16) for completing this self survey.

You will have one week to complete the assignment.
